Week 13: Virtual Field Trip & Tynker

Welcome back! This week we will be going on a virtual field trip, yay! You will investigate the themes of air, land, water, and waste as they explore how they can do their part to improve the environment as well as how a large company like Boeing is doing its part, too.

At home, you will be working in Tynker :) 
Objectives:

  • Apply sequencing logic to solve puzzles
  • Use new code blocks to solve puzzles
  • Use conditional logic to solve puzzles​
  • Perform research to understand how individuals, communities, and companies can positively affect the environment
  • Compare and contrast the individual and collective power of climate change action

Activities:
In Class Day 1:

  • Complete the Virtual Field Trip Video
  • Complete the 'During Activity' Worksheet
In Class Day 2:
  • MIT App Inventor Lesson 1.6 Bug Blasters
At Home Day 1:
  • Begin Dragon Blast in Tynker
​At Home Day 2: 
  • Finish Dragon Blast in Tynker

Due By Friday:
  • Dragon Blast t is Completed in Tynker
  • Complete the 'During Activity' Worksheet
